One thing we all “know” is that Jesus loves us. But sometimes we seem to forget it. We think the things we have done will make us unlovable. At other times, we may take His love for granted and do what we want because we know He will forgive us. After all He loves us unconditionally. This Sabbath, Keith Thompson will spend time exploring God’s love for us and our responses to it.

Charles Dickens wrote that the Parable of the Prodigal Son was “the greatest short story ever written”.  The parable has been depicted in music, art and sayings in the English language. The parable can be divided into three scenes -

Scene One – The rebellious, ungrateful younger son.

Scene Two – The kindly, soft-hearted father.

Scene Three – The arrogant pharisaical brother.

The question is, where do we fit into these three scenes?

Worship Service taken by Astel Fearon.  Astel is visiting  us from the  Aberdeen SDA Church and he will share God’s word with us this morning.  His message is entitled ‘Faith leads to Faithfulness’, and his text comes from Romans 1:16 “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the  Gentile.”
