Three years ago, in 2006, we started the CAP program. It was always our intention to review our projects after three years so today we’re looking back at the ROPE and CAKE projects.
The big picture: Over the 3 year period £24,000 was given from church budget (the single biggest line item in that budget). £16,674.22 came from other donations. Which gives us a total of £40,674.22. That’s a big number…
As part of her fund-raising for Project Romania 2008, Yvonne Bauwens would like to invite you to a musical concert at Crieff SDA Church. Everyone is warmly invited to come along and enjoy the evening as Yvonne plays her own compositions and arrangements of other sacred pieces. The concert is free but during the evening, there will be a collection to help Yvonne join the Project Romania 2008 team. During the interval, light refreshments will also be on sale.

In spite of the lack of ‘stuff’ appearing on this site we have been busy.
This Saturday (19th April) sees the first CAP day of the year, where the main worship service is given over to reporting what’s been happening.
Shirley Thomas is not long back from a few months in South Africa and Australia. During her epic trip she visited Maluti and she’ll tell us what she found there.
December was a good month for CAP – probably the best yet. Contributions during the month came to £2545.20, making a total for 2007 of around £8300 plus the £8000 from the Church budget. Not bad for a church of 60+ members…
We’re having our annual Church Business Meeting this coming weekend after which we’ll post the annual report for the CAP funds.
