After what seems like months of winter weather, evidence of spring has arrived. The seeming lifeless ground is producing beautiful flowers the first evidence of the bounty to come. In the Christian life, the apostle Paul describes what happens in the Christian’s life when the Holy Spirit is present in Gal 6:22,23. ‘The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.’ Pastor Bernie Holford will be preaching a series of sermons on these characteristics over the next few months. This week, we are looking at the relational dimension to the development of Christian character and how this can only happen when the Holy Spirit comes into our empty lives and transforms us from the inside out!
